Christina L. Essex is a skilled, articulate and results-oriented litigator with extensive experience in diverse matters.  Christina represents healthcare providers against professional liability and medical malpractice claims.  She also represents healthcare providers in connection with state and federal government investigations, regulatory and compliance issues, payor audits, medical board investigations, and in administrative proceedings.  Christina has worked with all types of healthcare providers, both as clients and experts, and counsel her clients on an array of issues.  She is know for collaborating with colleagues and clients alike with an aptitude for analyzing complex legal issues, prioritizing client communications, and providing practical solutions.

Christina received her law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University.  After graduating from law school, Christina rose through the ranks at several firms in Pittsburgh and Indianapolis before relocating back to her hometown of Atlanta.  She is licensed in Georgia, Indiana, and Pennsylvania and is a member of the Georgia Bar Association, Georgia Defense Lawyers Association, and Defense Research Institute.  She has consistently been selected as a Super Lawyer Rising Star since 2018 and received the honor of National Black Lawyers Top 100 in 2019.
