Criminal Defense

The attorneys at Chilivis Grubman are highly regarded as among the top and most successful criminal defense attorneys, not just in the State of Georgia, but nationwide.  Several of our attorneys are former prosecutors (both federal and state) who now utilize their collective experience and skills to zealously and effectively defend individuals and businesses that are under criminal investigation or who have been charged with a crime.

Our attorneys have decades of combined trial experience, and have handled just about every type of criminal case, from white collar and complex fraud cases, including healthcare fraud and public corruption, to violent crimes, up to and including murder.  Although we are a “boutique” law firm in size, many of our attorneys have many years of experience working at some of the largest law firms in the world, and bring that experience to bear when representing our clients through some of their most challenging times.

Despite being relatively small in size, we have many years of experience handling some of the largest and most complex investigations and prosecutions and have invested heavily in state-of-the-art technology that allows us to handle any case, no matter how big or small in scope. Moreover, our size allows us to be flexible when setting fees, and we often offer flat fee arrangements to help our clients better predict and contain legal costs while still obtaining second-to-none legal representation.

In addition to our trial victories, some of our proudest results is when we are able to convince the prosecution not to file charges in the first place.  Where charges are brought, we take pride in providing an aggressive defense and always being the best and most prepared in any courtroom we enter.

We also have significant experience handling “high profile” matters and representing high profile individuals, from A-list celebrities, to elected officials, to top corporate executives.  This experience allows us to not only zealously defend our clients’ legal rights inside of the courtroom, but to also vigorously defend their reputation in the court of public opinion.

In addition to our practice, our attorneys serve as thought leaders and experts in the area of criminal law.  Founding partner Scott Grubman, for example, has long served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at both Emory University and Georgia state University Schools of Law, where he teaches courses on healthcare fraud and white collar crime.

If you are being investigated or have been charged with a crime, DO NOT talk to law enforcement and contact us today.
