Brandon Dillard, Atlanta’s self-proclaimed “Top Veneer Specialist & Trainer”, was arrested on October 3, 2024 and charged with eight felonies, including violation of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (“RICO”) Act. According to the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office (“DA’s Office”), Dillard illegally performs dental veneer procedures on patients across the Atlanta Metropolitan Area.
Under Georgia law, only dentists are allowed to perform the cosmetic procedure of installing dental veneers. But the DA’s Office allege Dillard has engaged in an elaborate scam with severe health consequences. Dillard’s office, A List Smiles Atlanta, appears to be a luxurious dental office located in northeast Atlanta. But Dillard has never been a licensed dentist and allegedly performs dental veneers procedures. The DA further alleged that Dillard offers classes, and charges more than $6,000, to teach others how to become veneer specialists. According to the DA’s Office, there is no such thing as a legal veneer specialist and Dillard is running an “illegitimate operation”. Dillard has amassed over 150,000 social media followers. His alleged patients include B-list celebrities and social media influencers. The DA’s Office explained that Dillard’s social media captured the eye of investigators along with complaints from licensed dentists.
The Atlanta Police Department and DA investigators raided Dillard’s office on October 3rd, and he was taken into custody. Dillard is charged with two counts of practice of dentistry without a license, two counts of practice of medicine without a license, two counts of theft by deception, one count of criminal solicitation to commit a felony, and one count of violation of the Georgia RICO Act.
